"thats so gay" is a phrase often used, and not in its appropriate context (similar to the "retarded' "starving" uses..) and without sensitivity to those who are indeed gay...
my mom teaches her 4 yr olds to say "im famished!"to be more precise..

sensitivity of speech is huge--with words, we have the ability to imitate G-d..to create worlds mamash, or G-d forbid, to destroy. it is all in the power of the tongue!

Hmm.... Perhaps 'Happy as a clam'? I suppose that clams have emotions, but I've never heard of one who expressed them. And of course, shake/break a leg. Sarcasm? Raining cat and dogs is another. How did that come about?

Well written post, I doubt that anyone has ever shopped and dropped without having a serious medical condition.

"head over heels for..." as is, we're head over heels by just standing up...that's just one of many for me but I can't let semantics keep me up all night. But I'm enjoying your posts as usual.

Life is busy and full of all types of work (why I haven't been able able to respond to your email) but I'm doing well nonetheless
. hope to see you all soon!
