What is RSS?

For all intensive purposes, RSS Feed is a way for people to receive blogs, news updates and other subscription oriented materials-sports, the weather, finance tips, etc., organized in a customized RSS Reader.

Blogs and the like that you subscribe to, “feed” into your RSS “Reader.” Anyone who has gmail automatically has Google’s reader installed. If you don’t have an RSS reader, there are numerous ones available for free download- from Google, Yahoo, Aol, Bloglines and more.

There’s tons that I don’t know about RSS. What I do know, is that I like utilizing my Google Reader, because it gives me a specific destination to receive news, blogs that interest me, etc.- without having all that stuff clog and clutter my email inbox, which I like to use exclusively for business/social correspondence.

By clicking on the icon below, you will be able to subscribe to my RSS feed- and receive all new posts/updates on Unpacked. If you don’t already have an RSS Reader, the page where the icon will take you has readers available for free download.
